Senior Discipline Engineer - Sustainability

Job Description and Requirements
  • Knowledge of Sustainability, Environmental and Solid Waste Management legislative requirements (within the MENA region). 
  • Experience across all fields of Sustainability, Environmental and Solid Waste Management from planning, design and monitoring. 
  • Ability to liaise with Government departments relevant to sustainability, environmental and waste management opportunities. 
  • Contributing to proposals and deliver technical presentations to Clients.
  • Developing and preparing design drawings, reports, technical and materials specifications.
  • Working knowledge of Green Certification systems and assist in obtaining design approval from authorities/agencies.
  • Providing Green Certification design reviews and support to clients, including but not limited to, ensuring the client's sustainability and Green Certification goals are executed onsite by consultants and contractors on site. 
  • Maintain quality control and quality standards in all personal work output, checking computations, designs, drawings, plans, estimates and reports prepared for comprehensiveness, technical accuracy and sound application of engineering principles and standards. 


  • To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 6 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor of Science and / or Master of Science in Environmental, Architecture, Waste Management or Construction Management.
  • It is expected that the ideal candidate will also possess sustainability qualifications such as LEED AP, BREEAM etc, as well as professional membership of relevant institute. 
  • Arabic language communication skills will be highly regardded.
