Economics & Trading Specialist

Job Description and Requirements

1.Develop a process for issuing market price structures; provide data and pricing forecasts for integration in Monthly, Half-year and Budget programs.
2.Establish, administer and update the Refinery economic indicators based on accurate and reliable international market data.
3.Distribute economic data to appropriate parties for contract negotiation and studies; initiate and/or participate in studies for potential projects and investments.
4.Collect and consolidate economic data for the Technical and Optimization Department use on a daily basis.
5.Provide economic data to relevant organizations, such as the Performance Control Section and the Finance Department.
6.Act as a point of contact for internal and external queries for publication of product prices and liaise with the Partners Counterparts to study and articulate the economic feasibility of the Refinery projects and potential investments.
7.Prepare and distribute economic/operational weekly reports for internal and external customers.
8.Participate in elaboration of prices set used for monthly, half-year, and budget programs.
9.Develop tools for market forecasting and predictive hedging mechanism.
10.Assist Planners in hedging operations.
11.Perform other related duties as assigned the Supervisor Planning.
Expected Results:
Economic indicators are up-to-date and economic data is sent to relevant parties on-time.
Education Background:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent.
Five (5) years of experience in a related field.
