Project Manager - Airports - Qatar

The Airports Project Manager - Qatar is responsible for the management of Airport projects, typically in the region of $3 - $15Million. You will be required to provide support and tasking direction to the project technicians and sub contractors. This support will consist of administrative tasks, forecasting, planning, risk identification, change order management, billing and payments. You must be able to provide sound technical advice to the client and Airport operators on technical solutions and be able to deliver projects on time and budget. 


  • Management and supervision of the Airside subcontractor's quality management
  • Progress tracking and application for payment management
  • Site engineering coordination and task management alongside project planning for assigned activities alongside the management of the assigned technical work force and customer satisfaction.
  • Ownership of the financial performance of the assigned project by means of monitoring financial performance on a monthly basis and reviewing estimates versus actuals across the project deck to continuously improve Install operational metrics
  • Participate in the estimation review process prior to the quotation of any jobs or contracts in order to ensure that labour estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts quotations, where applicable, are complete and documented.
  • Ensure projects are resourced properly whilst developing effective partnerships with subcontractors and HAIL to ensure the availability of an adequate pool of resources. Manages selection and oversight of subcontractors for different jobs in conjunction, where appropriate, with supply team.

  • Bsc Engineering ideally Electrical
  • Proven experience within a Projects role within the AGL and Airside arena
  • Thorough knowledge of Project operations and financial processes


  • A broad knowledge of principles and best practices in (customer service)

  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
