Project Design Engineer (Security Systems) - Qatar

The Project Design Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the delivery of projects of integrated solutions that have a complex technical design requirement. 

Responsibilites

  • Network infrastructure design, installation and commissioning support, and 3rd party product integration with EBI to include EBI support and trouble shooting with the ability to complete basic log file analysis and EBI Custom Application Programming (i.e. Interface with Peoplesoft, SAP, CHOM, Identity management).
  • DVM and Access Control Systems design, installation, commissioning support and integration with other systems.
  • Preparation of standardised Engineering documents including System architecture, Installation & Wiring drawing
  • Standardised Camera & Access Control Device Tagging convention, Camera 
    Schedule, Access Control Door Schedule, Cause & Effect Matrix, Alarm / Fault 
    reporting strategy, IO-Class document for End-to-End Integration with IBM IOC 
    Platform etc

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science.
  • Extensive experience working in a projects environment, with comprehensive on-site knowledge
  • Previous experience working with highly complex technical solutions and integrations.
  • Previous experience on CCTV, DVM systems design with Video Analytics is preferable.
