Job Description and Requirements

Sales Manager needed for a leading medical equipment company in Doha, Qatar

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • MBA/Master degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales managerial position
  • Experience in selling medical equipment is a must
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Native Arabic speaker with good command of English
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Computer literate and networking experience
  • High level of responsibility, with the sense of loyalty and business ethics
  • Analytical and strategic mindset
  • Motivated, persistent and objective-oriented

Job Description:

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
  • Conduct one-on-one review with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive’s sales and activity performance
  • Provide timely feedback to COO regarding performance and maintain necessary data and records for future reference
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executive’s sales
  • Create, assist and conduct proposal presentations
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Insure that all Account Executive’s sales meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations and sales budget
  • Set examples for sales team in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Conduct regular coaching and counseling with sales team to build motivation and selling skills
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Supervise sales team to submit a report of what all they have done throughout the week or month and track sales team performances
  • Attend trade show and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments
  • Perform other related duties as required
