Supply Manager- MMC USC

Job Description and Requirements

Job Summary

URS/AECOM has an opening for a Supply Manager MMC USC in Kuwait.

Under the general direction, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accountability of the Army Preposition Stocks (APS-5), through both AWRDS (Army War Reserve Deployment System) and LMP (Logistics Modernization Program). Responsible for the direct oversite of the processes for materiel distribution and accountability through the receipt, storage, inventory, and issue of equipment. Responsible and accountable for the development and guidance to mid-level and junior department leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the oversight of all day-to-day accountability, inventory, and asset visibility operations for Army Preposition Stocks (APS-5) and Wholesale Theater Property Equipment (TPE).

  2. Assists with the responsibility of the proper application of all Army Supply Regulations, policies and procedures for all wholesale property

  3. Prepares support briefings and analysis for senior Project leadership for future mission planning and execution.

  4. Oversees all materiel inventory processes for sensitive items and monthly cyclic and ensures all requirements are met.

  5. Assists in the development and implementation of Program wide supply/accountability Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for overall improvement, efficiency and accuracy of supply operations

  6. Responsible for oversight of data administration on the contract to include submission of information to populate reports, contract deliverables, develop plans, SOPs and other required contract documentation.

  7. Maintains working knowledge of Army logistics programs to support the Project’s logistical responsibilities including the ability to implement future programs.

  8. Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of work and measured for effectiveness.

  9. Manages a professional team encompassing a wide range of functions within the discipline:

a. Establishes and arranges hiring boards to screen and interview candidates for open positions.

b. Evaluates staff; comparing objectives and performance goals to current assessments.

c. Coaches and mentors employees in their professional career development and process improvements.

d. Issues disciplinary or corrective actions as required.

e. Recommends termination or contract non-renewal when appropriate.

f. Responsible for completing Performance Evaluations as required.

  1. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Clearance: Secret Clearance is required

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of military supply logistics experience or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 6 years supervisory experience.

  • Familiarity with military equipment, automation systems related to Class VII accountability critical.

  • Minimum of 5 Years LMP Experience

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Army Supply Regulations, AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 740-26 and DA PAM 708-2

  • Must have knowledge of Army Supply documentation such as DA Form 1348, DA Form 2062 and DA Form 444.

  • Technical knowledge and proficiency of approved automated property management software, various LOGSA/Logistics Integrated Warehouse (LIW) applications, and Theatre Property Equipment- Planner (TPE-Planner).

  • Must have a broad, comprehensive and extensive knowledge of the theory, principles, and methods required to plan, track, and execute a Logistical Support Operation.

  • Must have advanced level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and other related applications

  • Must have advanced written and oral communications skills.

  • Must have interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with others effectively.

Certification & License: LMP 40 hour End User Training Certificate

Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

US Army MOS 92A/92Y or 920A/B preferred.
