Job Summary

AECOM/URS has an opening for an

AWRDS Clerk in

Kuwait .


Serves as an Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) Clerk in maintaining asset visibility and support equipment issue of all wholesale stocks on the Army Pre-positioned Stock 5 (APS) Kuwait footprint by utilizing AWRDS and hand-held PDA scanning devices. Ensures accurate updates to locations and equipment management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Performs and manages data entry using AWRDS data base system and excel.

  2. Utilize Standard Query Language (SQL) module to obtain information, analyze and resolve problems.

  3. Provides location updates and visibility of all wholesale equipment within AWRDS

  4. Assists with inventories of wholesale Army equipment.

  5. Conducts location updates and track movement of equipment.

  6. Affix’s barcode labels, scan via PDA device and log equipment in both exercise and contingency conditions as directed.

  7. Ensures accuracy of bar code labels against data/information plate of military equipment.

  8. Supports equipment issue operations by generating Hand Receipts and supporting documentation.

  9. Maintains and file all accountability documentation

  10. Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions.

  11. Performs other position related duties.

Minimum Requirements


1-2 years of military supply logistics experience or equivalent.

Familiarity with military equipment, automation systems related to Class VII accountability critical.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of Army Regulations, AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 708-2.

Possess knowledge of Army Supply documentation such as DA Form 1348 and DA Form 2062.

Possess understanding and basic knowledge of the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS), various LOGSA Logistics Integrated Warehouse (LIW) applications, and other approved automated property accountability systems.

Must be able to utilize MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

Must be a US Citizen

Tier 1 / NACI required


High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certification & License: N/A

Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:

Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during a 72 hour work week.

Must be able to lift 25 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs. intermittently.

Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred.
