Job Summary

URS/AECOM has an opening for a

Human Resources Generalist III in

Kuwait .

The Human Resources Generalist III is responsible for the day-to-day support operations within the assigned area of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other regulations. Facilitates or provides training (including orientation) the workforce. 1. Provide input to the development personnel policies and procedures.

  2. Interviews and screens interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements. Administrates and works with management on internal promotions. .

Benefits Administration:

  1. Assists with various employee benefit programs, such as group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, and 401(k) plan. Provides excellent customer service and provides technical support in the delivery of the benefit program. Coordinates new hire enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, and beneficiaries.

Candidate Management:

  1. Partners with CONUS in processing new hires utilizing OnPoint.

  2. Assists with processing Kuwait Visa, Base Access Badging and KDL.

  3. May conduct new-employee orientations and demobilization.

Contract Support:

  1. Prepares, maintains and distributes employee agreements (new & renewal).

  2. Processes leave requests.

  3. Process Final-Out processing

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.

  • 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in two or more of the following fields: human resources, business administration, training and development or information technology required.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have a U.S. passport.

  • Must be able to favorably complete customer and company background investigation.

Specialized knowledge and skills:

  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.

  • Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.

  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.

  • Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.

  • Must be able to identify conflicts of interest as they relate to employment situations.

  • Must have high-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately.

  • Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.

  • Must be able to anticipate internal client needs.

  • Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during a 48 hour work week.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. continuously, 50 intermittently.

  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
