Job Summary

URS/AECOM has an Contingent opening for a Logistics Center (LOC) Analyst II (Plans and Operations) in Kuwait.

Performs mission/resource analysis coordinates with supply, maintenance and transportation functional areas and ensures supporting requirements and implied tasks are accomplished to standard and within required timelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for ensuring program logistics resources (supply, transportation, and maintenance) can adequately support each mission requirement.

  2. With the use of MDMP, assist in the development of Concept of Support/Course of Action briefs, APS-5 Set Annual Issue Exercise requirements and issue plans IAW contract requirements.

  3. Conduct physical validations of equipment and system upon system configurations.

  4. Responsible for ensuring all planning data is compiled and replicated in support of APS Set Equipment Readiness.

  5. Responsible for preparation of common operating picture (COP) slides to depict ongoing mission statuses and report to the Government daily.

  6. Ensure specific mission/project bench mark goals are identified and attained.

  7. Track and analyze Taskers, operational activities and department metrics.

  8. Assist with the coordination of a multiple mission requirements including APS Set Readiness.

  9. Assist with the sustainment program through operational analysis, operational planning, maintenance & readiness reporting.

  10. Serve as the liaison between all departments to achieve a cohesive end result.

  11. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Minimum Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


  • 6 years of related civilian or military experience required.

  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

  • US Army MOS 91A / 91B / 91M / 94E preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be well versed in Army operating methodologies and the use of appropriate logistic information systems.

  • Must have knowledge of working with MTOE and ARMY equipment configurations and equipment readiness.

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of AWRDS.

  • Must have the ability to interpret and implement local policies.

  • Must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook.

  • Must have progressive written and oral communications skills.

  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.

Certification & License:

  • Able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance

Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
