Inspector -Track Maintenance

Job Summary

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs initial inspection applicable for inspected items.

  • Identifies all equipment faults (deficiencies/short comings) and records on the maintenance work sheet with all required repair parts will be listed on the maintenance request.

  • May be required to diagnose and troubleshoot as needed to support complex maintenance actions.

  • Components of end items will also be inspected (i.e. rigging equipment, snatch blocks, spare tires, loading ramps, chock blocks, and canvas covers).

  • Component repairs and engine powered equipment such as contained in or upon major end items will also be inspected during initial inspection.

  • Perform in-progress and final inspection of maintenance performed to ensure all quality standards have been met.

  • Prepare Quality Assurance Forms and obtain customer signature of acceptance.

  • Inspect for proper use of tools, incorrect repair and adjustment procedures, and the proper use of publications.

  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a Eastern European Citizen

  • This is a position with a physical rating of heavy.

  • Must have 5 years maintenance experience on M1A1/A2 Abrams Tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, other heavy and light armored vehicles preferably with QA/QC background.

  • Military maintenance/defense maintenance contracting experience preferred but not required. Civilian candidates with 5 years M1A1/A2 Abrams Tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, other heavy and light armored vehicles and quality assurance/quality control, (QA/QC), technical experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Must be proficient In Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point.

  • Thorough knowledge of technical publications helpful.
