Security Manager, Jordan

Job Description and Requirements

The candidate is responsible to provide comprehensive coordinated threat-driven security risk
management and business continuity support to the business, ensuring all threats to personnel, assets
and operations in Jordan are properly identified, evaluated and mitigated in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily security operations of staff, assets and company operations
  • Strong understanding and application of security risk management methodology
  • Understanding of security systems, physical security, CCTV and Security principles
  • Assess, identify and report potential business security risks to personnel, assets and business operations/activities to the Area Security Manager, in order to implement appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Experienced in dealing with threat information and assessing and communicating risks
  •  Produce clear reports, situation updates, quality intelligence and analytical advice to help the decision-making process, with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, including guard force management
  • Implement Zone security policies and procedures in order to ensure the protection of company assets.
  • Conduct security investigations, produce investigation reports in order to inform the business of incident details and assist in the identification of appropriate solutions to identified problems.
  •  Review, implement and maintain effective security policy, procedures and best practice

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma
  •  Minimum (5) years of experience in the field of security, police or Military service; with Command and Leadership experience.
  • Proven crisis management capability is plus
  • Excellent level in both Arabic and English languages
  • Demonstrates empathy, emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  • Open personality and exposed to diverse cultures
