Job Title:      Logistics Assistant – Assets Controller

Report to:     Logistics Officer - Assets Controller      

Location:      Amman and Field

Scope of Work:

  • Perform all tasks related to asset management and check that all assets and inventory old and new are properly recorded and tagged in line with IMC policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all new assets are entered to the Cost Point system with all required information. And cooperate with the warehouse team to prepare relevant the GRN.
  • Ensure that all assets are registered on the Cost Point system and update the condition / statues for each assets /attractive items updated on the system regularly.
  • Assist the Assets controller to perform a monthly, quarterly and full annual assets verification .and update the records on the Cost Point system accordingly.
  •  Report if any assets/inventory are broken, lost or stolen on the Inventory Loss/Theft/Damage
  • Ensure that any donated assets are fully recorded and donation certificates and/or contracts are fully signed and properly authorized by the Country Director. and disposal of assets in accordance with IMC and donor guidelines
  • Maintain and prepare the donation letters and GIKs and share the required reports with the Management.
  • Assist the Assets controller to prepare and maintain an inventory list for each site.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications Required:

  • Preferably Bachelor degree in IT, BIS, MIS or any related experience
  • Preferably one-year experience in Logistics or any related experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and skills, Typing, Data Entry, and Attention to Details
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work in the camp & Urban.
  • Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources.
