Assignment

In order to ensure accurate and complete documentation of all projects as per the FLAT (Finance, Logistic, Admin, Transparency) compliance checklist, the Compliance and Transparency Assistant will assist the Country Audit / Compliance Manager in with the follow-up on procedures and filing systems of ACTED.

Internal:  - Interact with all Departments i.e. Finance /Log/HR/Program

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

GENERAL

 

  • Responsible for the Compliance, Transparency and Documentation procedures' enforcement.
  • Train/reinforce compliance capacities and knowledge of HR/FIN/LOG Officers.
  • Managing Internal Audit Mission and Spot checks on the compliance of FIN/HR/LOG/Programme processes and completing the corresponding checklists
  • Ensuring that the originals of the relevant documents are received in the Capital on a monthly basis (finance vouchers, personal files, procurement files). The effective sending remains the responsibility of each department.
  • To support senior staff in department on due diligence process.
  • Follow-up on audit and compliance findings and recommendation.
  • To work and to organize filling system in department.
  • Assist with Internal and External Audits preparation.
  • To assist staff in all hubs/offices to provide requested information or documents.
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications

  • -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance.
  • (1-2) years of compliance experience with financial regulations plus Audit experience are welcomed.
  • Experience with an NGO or International NGO preferable.
  • Ability to work in English is required

 

   REPORTING:

 

  • Prepare a monthly compliance report share it with management
  • Perform other tasks as delegated by the Compliance Officer and/or Country Management

 

Benefits:

 

  • Contract duration is 6 months, renewable based on budget and performance
  • The Salary range between 676 JODs
  • Health Insurance not deducted from salary
  • Social Security Contribution
  • 1.75 days is the monthly annual leave.
