We also provide equal employment to all participants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran or marital status.   Project Overview and Role Palladium is actively seeking candidates with experience in several technical areas for the anticipated USAID/Jordan Enterprise Support Activity (JESA). The purpose of this activity is to support private sector-led economic growth for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jordan by strengthening the business enabling environment, value chains, and access to finance. JESA will provide technical assistance to MSME firms to become more competitive, identify new sources of demand, and enhance capacity to meet market demands. While working at the firm level, JESA will improve the business enabling environment by supporting the Government of Jordan in targeted reforms that will facilitate investments in Jordan. JESA will also work with firms to connect them with access to and use of both traditional and non-traditional financial service providers to encourage investments and expand firm productivity.    Responsibilities Palladium seeks long-term candidates with the following technical and operational capabilities:

Requirements
  • Advanced degree in business, law, economics, finance or other closely related field.
  • At least eight years’ experience in private sector development, business enabling environment, export promotion, emerging markets, monitoring and evaluation, or other expertise area listed above.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience developing and finalizing high quality deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working proficiency in English required, Arabic preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience in economic reform in Jordan or MENA region preferred.
  • At least three years’ experience on donor-funded projects for economic growth preferred.
