Job Description and Requirements

Job Purpose:

 

- Processing LCY checks.

- Supporting Info Fort in processing of LCY checks.

- Processing Returned checks.

- Supporting daily functions of Cash management ops unit.

 

Process daily functions of Incoming and outgoing funds transfers /pay link checks

 

Performs and executes all types of financial transactions for all customer


Job Background/context:

 

Considered as first and basic element in preparing / producing one of the major Cash deliverable within the Cash ops area. Reporting to the person responsible for managing LCY checks. Supporting other Cash areas when needed, also providing other units of the bank with different Cash data required.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

- Ensure adherence at all times to Citibank policies and procedures, AandP and local procedures.

- Aware of CBE rules and regulations for the collections process.

- Receiving and delivering LCY checks to Info Fort for processing after making the related controls.

- Accountable for Handling and Preparing the Clearing session (FCY or LCY) process and CBE automated clearing system.

- Handing the return checks (FCY or LCY) process matching with the AandP.

- Processing day-to-day work on Flex

- Handling all the department inquiries.

- Ensure that all checks and customer documents are scanned on Citidocs.

- Ensure various Banking operations processes while adhering to Citibank regulations

- Coordination with other bank departments (Citi service, Account service, Trade , cash management, Cash area, Custody, Treasury…) to ensure smooth operation process and optimize customer benefits.

- Reporting to Banking and Trops Operation’s Manager

University degree.


Knowledge/Experience:

 

0 to 3 years of experience.

 

 

Skills:

 

 

  • Good command of English language.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage for this role
