Home Based Online Marketing Officer

Job Description and Requirements

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Content Development Research and write compelling, fact-based blog posts, web page content and other content that speaks to the needs of our audience

  • Public relations Research local publishers story submission policies, draft stories for publication

  • Email marketing Draft and test content, coordinate campaigns, assess and report results

  • Social media Produce and edit content, identify and reach target audiences, assess and report results

  • SEO/SEM Write web site content that supports organic search, write advertisements for and track results of search marketing campaigns

  • Events Produce content that promotes our team leading up to industry events, provide other support for team attending events

  • Account and Contact research analyze alignment between SAI products and services and identify organizations (Accounts) and individuals (Contacts) for future marketing campaigns

  • Manage data for accounts, contacts, leads and opportunities in CRM system

  • Project management Keep track of schedule and milestones

  • Other marketing initiatives or administrative support as needed

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 1 year of relevant marketing experience

  • Experience with SalesForce and other digital campaign tools preferred

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Simple data analysis of web metrics and advertising campaigns

  • Proven ability to research and organize information

  • Previous experience with SEO, Web content development and B2B marketing desired but not required

  • Effective use of social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In desired but not required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, CRM systems and Internet Browser
