Digital Sales Representative MVS

Job Description and Requirements
Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Sell IBM supported Multi-Vendor Software & Open Source services for Egypt & Saudi.
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative performance goals and set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages and the IBM's Open Source value proposition
  • Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing relationships
  • Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities independently and provide accurate forecasts

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success, preferably in the software or IT industry
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, computer science, or other technical discipline
  • Solutions sales experience in an environment with multiple software offerings and services;
  • Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
  • Ability to work with the complexities of partner organizational structures and be able to develop strategic relationships with alliance partners
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Working knowledge of emerging technology products such as JBoss, Ceph Storage, Gluster Storage, Ansible, OpenShift and OpenStack
