Sales Promoter

Job Description and Requirements

    main target customers of EM LP Sales Promoter are firms and companies working 
    at: 

    Specialized 
    departments for electrical installations at the building designer’s / 
    architect’s firm

    & Electrical consultant firms
  • Planning 
    departments of buildings, real estate management firms, and building 
    authorities
  • Planning 
    departments of builders/developers, industrial customers and the general 
    contractor / 

    technical 
    general contractor / contractor for technical building installations
  • In 
    addition, non-revenue generators will also be attended to in the target market 
    segment during the 

    relevant 
    planning stages, in order to set the framework for subsequent sales activities 
    more 

    efficiently 
    and increase the probability of order placement.

Intention of this job 
position 

EM LP Sales Promoter upholds the 
cross-sector interests in the target market segment of Electrical 

Equipment for Buildings regarding the 
relevant product portfolio. 

With the main focus on being the point of 
contact for the different electrical designers, the EM LP 

Sales Promoter is responsible for the 
following:

  • Pre-acquiring 
    (initiating) business deals by attending to the electrical designers 
    (engineering 

    firms) 
    and the relevant non-revenue generators in the target market segment
  • Rendering 
    vital support for the target customers in the target market segment during the 

    relevant 
    planning stages in order to set the framework for subsequent sales activities 
    more 

    efficiently 
    and increase the probability of order placement.
  • Imparting 
    knowledge to the target customers by supplying and communicating the 
    technological 

    performance 
    features of the relevant product portfolio1) with its systems characteristics 
    on the 

    basis 
    of specific task definitions
  • Gaining 
    information on integrated solutions for power distribution in commercial and 
    industrial 

    buildings 
    ranging from the medium-voltage level to the power consuming equipment, and 

    projects 
    from the target customers
  • Initiating 
    business deals by rendering support to revenue generators as far as these are 
    not 

    attended 
    to by the sales department and provided that the procedure has be coordinated 
    and 

    agreed 
    with the responsible distribution channels
  • In 
    addition to the above, EM LP Sales Promoter shall act as driver of the local EM 
    LP official 

    distributors 
    & Panel Builders, focusing on "strategy and sales". This includes 
    in particular the 

    coordination 
    of pre-acquisition, promotion, acquisition and sales activities, both 
    project-specific and 

    across 
    market segments in order to ensure the optimal exploitation of incoming orders 
    / revenue for 

    Siemens.

Other 
skills

  • Electrical Degree or Similar.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Good command of the English and Arabic languages.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as 
    individually.
  • Dynamic outgoing personality.
