Service Delivery Improvement Officer

Job Description:

  1.  Assist assigned (HCs, Clinics and Hospitals) in the implementation and monitoring of integrated RMNCH+ services.
  2.  Conduct scheduled field visits to provide technical support regarding the RMNCH+ services in the assigned (HCs, Clinics and Hospitals).
  3. Assess assigned (HCs, Clinics and Hospitals) to build baseline through Identifying inefficiencies or gaps/challenges in existing processes to provide a foundation for defining activities to improve services.
  4. Assist in conducting Integrated Services Delivery Improvement Collaborative sessions.
  5. Develop and update related  “Change Package” ,which is a group of interventions designed to improve the health service delivery process and address gaps indicated in the baseline assessment findings as part of the Integrated Service Delivery Improvement Collaborative.
  6.  Provide technical support including coaching, on-the-job training, and training sessions on RMNCH+ services.
  7. Assist assigned (HCs, Clinics, and Hospitals) staff in meeting set of managerial and technical objectives  through continuous Improvement of clinical and documentation practices.
  8. Report on challenges and potential problems. In addition to being responsive to assigned (HCs, Clinics and Hospitals) internal needs and work proactively to identify and implement solutions to recurring issues along with the help of the Specialist whenever needed.
  9. Follow up the implementation of evidence based practices to ensure standardization of services provision in all assigned (HCs, Clinics and Hospitals).
  10. Perform data collection, sampling and documentation to monitor the project’s indicators ensuring accuracy, timeliness and relevancy of information.
  11. Meet any other related job requirements as requested.
  12. Prepare technical reports/field visit report upon completion of the visit.

Qualifications:

  •  BA degree in Medicine, nursing, midwifery or another related health field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maternal and Child health services or any other related health field
  • Significant experience in family planning, maternal, newborn and child health programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written English / Arabic are required.
  •  Work experience in USAID- or other donor-funded health programs is preferred.
  • Excellent Computer Skills in MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
