Job Description and Requirements
Role Summary
Responsible for proposing and assisting the firm in developing relationship with potential clients and implementing selected marketing initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop marketing materials. E.g. corporate brochure, articling brochure, personal and practice group profiles.
- Develop and implement the firm’s public relations program, to include internal and external publications (e.g. newsletters, client alerts, greeting cards, etc.) that enhance public awareness of the firm
- Evaluate and implement firm participation in sponsorships and community programs
- Coordinate, review, edit and design responses to Request for Proposals
- Schedule and coordinate regular meetings of the Business Development Committee and implement initiatives
- Monitor various mediums for development in the area
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or in any related Field
- Familiarity with the services provided by contracting firms
- Understand needs and expectations of clients
- Aware of material provided in the market and prices
- Ability to communicate with and gain confidence clients and staff
- Ability to adapt to and work within the firm’s culture
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized and ability to work independently
- Able to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments
- Working knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, presentations software, database management and spreadsheet applications
