Job Responsibilities:
- Defines & Implements sourcing strategies, renegotiates frequency.
- Monitors supplier market, identifies and leverage new suppliers and improvement opportunities ( Additional levers).
- Communicates group contracts and required information or advice to all entities to ensure effective compliance with group contracts and group sourcing policies on the Country level.
- Supports Sourcing team when appropriate on sourcing process and strategy definition (i.e. specifications definition, negotiate tactics…)
- Tracks and reports sourcing performance for the commodity.
- Leads sourcing and suppliers performance reporting.
- Performs buying activities on certain commodities or sub – commodities .
- Perform other related duties as assigned by his/her boss.
Main Job Requirements:
§ Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field with minimum 5 years experience related to the accountabilities specified.
§ Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
§ Knowledge of contracting process and associated local and other regulations.
§ Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
§ Knowledge of Commodity markets and price trends.
§ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
§ Negotiation skill.
§ Knowledge of contract law.
§ Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
§ Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Very good written and spoken Arabic and English.
