Job Description and Requirements

1. Job Purpose:

Will have responsibility for a production area comprised of a number of production lines, each with a teams charged with monitoring and controlling production requirement. The key contribution is to ensure production targets are met through the optimisation of production processes and cost-effective operations and that team members have the tools and materials to achieve set objectives. The role is heavily oriented towards production troubleshooting and problem solving through the application of analytical techniques and problem solving. Team compliance with quality, health, safety, hygiene and environment standards are the responsibility of the job holder in addition to staff development and furthering technical expertise.

2. Key Accountabilities:

  • Supervise & control the production processes & parameters in designated area in addition to make recommendations for developing procedures.
  • Participate in product and production quality & efficiency improvement efforts.
  • Monitoring section performance in designated area of production and supervises complex problems solving troubleshooting.  
  • Monitor raw materials and resources usage & consumptions and request from stores.
  • Coordinate with Technical, stores, quality & safety Departments on required functions accomplishment.
  • Closing and finalize production orders in order to assure their completeness according to the plan and compliance to specifications and time.
  • Review and analyze section reports and prepare regular production reports (in relation to consumption, efficiency, cost and productivity).
  • Ensures that the workplace is kept in a clean state and that all work is carried out in full compliance with approved occupational, health and safety procedures and GMPs and hygienic procedures.

3. Qulaifications & Experience:

  • B.Sc. degree in related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in food Industry.
  • Knowledge in meet Industry is a plus.
  • Problem solving Skills.
  • Data Analysis skills.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Management Skills.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills.
  • Reporting & Presentation Skills.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Open minded and flexibility abilities.
