Job Description and Requirements

Role Purpose:

To manage global trade finance deals and coordinate the transaction process. To ensure that appropriate risk management and underwriting takes place in support of trade finance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

§  Conclude international trade finance deals such as large scale export/import letters of credits, foreign guarantees, risk participation and silent confirmation

§  Provide letters of credit (L/C) for commercial transactions

§  Liaise to arrange underwriting for L/C as required

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

Education:

§  Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance , accounting or other relevant fields of study

Certifications:

§  CFA, CMA, CPA or other relevant financial accreditation is highly preferable

Knowledge:

§  Knowledge in global trade finance. 

§  Knowledge of international financial markets and investment/ credit products, including pricing. 

§  Commercial awareness and business acumen

Experience:

§  2-3 years in developing and managing international trade finance deals

Technical Skills:

§  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

§  Strong skills in deal negotiation, pricing, relationship management and  creditability with significant clients

§  Superior verbal and written communication (English & Arabic); French would be a plus
