BRAND MANAGER, Luxury Retail/Fashion
ND & Associates

 

Responsible for developing the brands portfolio and driving the sales within the market. The activity will include market analysis & trending, consumer performance, competitor analysis, advertising and event management. 


Key Accountabilities 
• Manage and controls pre and post buying 
• Direct and coordinate with the suppliers on a regular basis throughout the buying cycle in relation to selecting, ordering and delivery of products 
• Collaborates with the retail channel to ensure proper product placement and branding and to develop strategies to push the business through the stores to achieve the sales targets. 
• Monitors the new trends and update the company with recent developments of industry. 
• Achieve or exceed the sales objective in the Business Plan through periodic brand performance review and taking practical and appropriate actions (e.g. Trading Calendar, training, merchandising, advertising etc.) in compliance with Brand standards to ensure the desired results are achieved. 
• Budget management through monitoring of changes in expenditures and discrepancies and through communication on the efficient use of resources. 
• Prepare seasonal and annual budgets and forecast and improve gross margins. 
• Undertake pricing activities and monitors OTB calculation. 
• Improve stock turns for respective brands. 
• Proper allocation and stock transfer of merchandise. 
• Ensure proper assortment planning and inventory budgeting. 
• Monitoring of inventory levels and prepares reports. 
• Ensure visual standards are communicated and implemented across stores. 
• Participates in marketing, cross selling activities and media planning activities for advertising. 
• Coordinate with projects and operation management for the new stores opening. 
• Set out branding start-ups. 
• Supports manpower planning and management of stores and its staff in order to achieve work environment which supports and improves store and team performance.

Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong buying background in luxury retail. 
• Supervisory / managerial previous experience 
• Highly organized and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong negotiation skills 
• Ability to work well with all levels of management, build partnerships and direct teams 
• Ability to develop and empower a team
