Cargo Manager

We are looking for an individual with the proven ability to:
• Generate cargo business to agreed revenue and services delivery to standard
• Plan and focus on key prioritiesMaintain and increase customer base and revenue
• Produce marketing plans and implement goal setting programs
• Develop and manage a team of staff
• Work at all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people (agents, forwarders, handling agents)
• Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation, seaport and local laws
• Oversee all budgetary and non-budgetary expenditures.
• Assess and manage risks

Skills

• Strong knowledge of the airline and international air, sea and land freight industry
• At least 5 years cargo management and sales experience in managerial role
• In-depth communication, management and demonstrated leadership ability
• Self-driven and motivated
• Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong decision-making and time management skills
• Experience in dealing with Local, Provincial, and Federal government agencies including suppliers.
