Job Description and Requirements
Responsibilities
The Delivery Consultant is responsible for the installation of identified client solution. The Delivery Consultant is the primary contact for the client's solution troubleshooting and consultation. A Delivery Consultant consults in design, build and trouble-shooting within the appropriate tools used by project team/solution and will be able to understand and consult on Cerner business process with client work groups. The Consultant will establish and maintain relationships at the appropriate level between Cerner and client, in order to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution benefits, etc., as well as effectively communicate status updates of tasks and project plans to appropriate client and Cerner project team members. The Delivery Consultant will also participate in continuous learning opportunities and maintain solution expertise (i.e. certification, wed based trainings, knowledge transfer events, coaching/mentoring associates, expansion of current skill set). The Delivery Consultant is also responsible for effectively communicates status updates of tasks and project plans to appropriate Client and Cerner project team members.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-Experience in Cerner solutions is preferred (SurgiNet & ProCure)
-Background in healthcare, sciences, or information systems is preferred
-Prolonged use of computer
-Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
-Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
-Ability to travel and work remotely (80%)
