Retail Store Manager

Job Description and Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

• Devise marketing plans and effective store strategies to improve sales and achieve monthly target.
• Create store presentations, ideas, and concept to successfully promote store merchandises
• Build strong client base through effective promotional marketing
• Advise and manage operations on out of stock departments/lines, slow sellers or price sensitivities.
• Develop and approve visual store displays, prints and tv ads
• Oversee and manage daily store operations
• Ensure that daily store quota are reached
• Maintaining inventory and ordering of merchandise.
• Responsible for daily accountability of cash drawer.
• Daily cleanliness and organization of the store.
• Displaying merchandise to promote sales
• Daily opening and/or closing duties.
• Must deal with customers in the store and help to sell goods
• If any customer has any query, he must offer advice and answer those questions
• Manage and develop special promotions
• Must train and motivate the staff and take care of managerial duties

Skills

• Must have experience and full understanding of Retail Store Operations, including Staff Management, Stock Control, Merchandising, Sales, Client Service and Driving the Sales.
• Ideally have experience in clothing / fashion retail
• A person interested in working in this field must enjoy fashion and have knowledge about what’s happening in the fashion world
• Should be able to work in a team and coordinate with all other staffs
• Should possess excellent communication
• Must be committed towards customer service and should cheerfully help people
• Should be well-groomed and have possess a stylish fashion sense
• Superb marketing, retail and sales skills
• Positive attitude, great enthusiasm and unmatched work flexibility
• Willing to travel or be assigned to other retail outlets
• Willing to work in varying shifts and extended store hours
• Has a broad knowledge on business, merchandising and marketing
• Superior leadership and interpersonal skills
• At least 2 years Store Management experience
