We are looking for a senior developer to lead a team of developers in implementing web based software applications and systems. We believe in using the best tool for the job, so we build our systems using various platforms and frameworks.   We insist that our senior developers stay on top of web trends, pushing us to adopt technologies that will better the experience for us and our clients. 

The successful senior candidate will have the following skills, abilities and/or qualifications:

• Passionate about web 2.0 and open source technologies
• Commitment to producing high quality software
• Familiar with Agile development practices

Skills

Experience with ANY of the following technologies is a plus: 

• Scripting languages like TCL, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby or similar languages
• Experience with modern AJAX JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, prototype, Scriptaculous, Mootools, or similar frameworks
• Experience with standards compliant XHTML and CSS (including support for IE6)
• Experience working in modern web application architecture, such as, MVC, SOAP web services, REST web services
• Experience working with XML, XSLT, JSON or similar
• Experience generating and optimizing SQL queries
• Experience designing and administering databases including MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Experience using Content Management Systems , such as Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress or similar applications
• Experience using version control systems such as SVN, CVS or Git
