Job Description and Requirements
A leading supplier of English language medical information in the Middle East market requires a
Pharma Sales Manager (m/f)
To develop sales channels direct to Pharma companies as well as through medcom agents, and contribute creatively to the development of adapted/customized products for pharma customers in the Middle East region drawn from across our product portfolio. Formulate best strategies and implement plans to increase and improve the sales revenues through all pharma channels by providing a solutions approach to satisfy the medical communication needs of pharma in the region, as well as providing support and advice to other sales representatives in the region to optimise their sales through the pharma channels.
Qualification
- Researching, prospecting and lead follow up
- Meeting and exceeding annual revenue objectives set for your territory
- Providing ongoing internal reporting of the market and clients’ needs
- Maintaining thorough product knowledge
- Developing professional, concise and accurate proposals
- Preparing and delivering strong presentations
- Communicating with international offices
- Delivering an annual strategic plan and budget for the territory
- Developing and implementing the annual marketing plan (special events, direct mail campaigns, conferences)
- Developing and executing the quarterly communication plan (direct mail and follow-up telephone calls)
- Providing input to the editorial process
- Maintaining an accurate client database
- Managing pharma medcom agents and sales reps team.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Pharma, a post-graduate degree such as an MBA or an MSc would be an asset.
- At least 6 years of proven and successful sales experience, in a media, publishing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Demonstrated passion for sales and a commitment to providing customer traditional and e-solutions.
- Determination to constantly meet and exceed targets.
- Must be able to operate independently and effectively as well as thrive in a team environment.
- Flexibility for travel to meetings with clients and attendance at medical conventions, as well as attending national and international company meetings.
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages.
