Marketing Manager/Head of Jordan Operations

Overview:

Have you managed employees in multiple departments at once? Love to setup office infrastructure and get a team built? Are you a digital and online marketing guru with a passion for cutting-edge online marketing techniques? Do you have what it takes to create a buzz online and develop a vibrant online community? If so, read on. We are currently seeking a full-time employee to head our newly launched Amman office and manage digital/social media marketing.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Understands how to motivate and manage employees in multiple departments
  • Should not hesitate to do the small tasks needed to get an office running
  • Will manage projects with fixed budgets and timelines
  • Familiar with blogging with WordPress system
  • SEO and how to improve our position in search engines
  • How to run a social networks accounts (Facebook, Twitter, HootSuite)
  • How to do a Keyword research
  • How to use Google Analytics
  • Working with affiliates sites
  • Posting in forums and get people engaged
  • Strong translation skill

 

Proven Skills & Technical Requirements:

  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fast and Efficient
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
  • Some Administrative Experience
  • Expert user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of basic HTML very desirable
  • Well presented and professional with a flexible approach to work

Questions to answer in your cover letter:

- How would you deal with an employee that does not come in to work on time?
- What makes a better manager, being nice, or being mean?
- Is it appropriate for a manager to take out the office trash?
- Are social media accounts channels for business to send out marketing copy or avenues for businesses to embed themselves in their customers daily lives?
- How would a companys' social media strategy be different for their Facebook page then for their twitter account?
