Finance Manager (Opportunity Reference: LEIP-002)

IRD is seeking qualified, senior and mid-level candidates for long-term positions in Jordan to include in their bid in response to the anticipated call for applications for a 5-year, USAID-funded Learning Environment Improvement Program (LEIP). It is anticipated that the program will focus on improving student well-being and school achievement through improving the learning environment. Under the management of the Chief of Party, the Finance Manager will manage all financial aspects of the program and will have responsibility for the efficient implementation of the financial processes and for financial reporting to IRD HQ and the donor. The Finance Manager will ensure full compliance with all USAID and Jordanian government guidelines, laws, and best practices related to fiscal management. Minimum Qualifications: • Candidates require a Bachelors’ degree in economics, accounting, or finance, preferably a professional qualification in CPA, USCPA, CIA or equivalent, • At least five years prior experience of financial management on a USAID-funded program. • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and good command of English IRD strongly encourages qualified applicants from all communities, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, language, religion or age.
