Logistics Manager

Develop & implement warehousing operations plans, policies and procedures in line with corporate production and maintenance strategy in order to achieve the material requirement plan and ensure the integrity of supply Identify, develop, propose and/or implement as appropriate policy and procedure improvements for the department, in order to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the warehousing operation and storage facility are maintained and the highest operating standards are achieved Ensure the effective planning and coordination of warehousing operations activity with key production process activities e.g. maintenance and shutdown in order to ensure continuous integrity of onsite goods and material supply Manage & controlling the warehouse operations, receiving, handling, storekeeping, issuing, internal delivery & managing the storing of Maintenance spare parts, consumables and production consumable items. Manage the Inventory control activities and transactions as per ERP BP e.g. receiving, inspections, storing, locator controlling, issuing, transferring, physical inventory using the ABC analysis & cycle counting program, disposal and write off Control material replenishment process for as per ERP Min-Max planning to satisfy operational and maintenance requirements of materials in time using the standard inventory planning procedures Supervise overall job activities in warehouse operation & execute matters based on the instruction and advice from superiors for the effective functions & policy. Execution of priority task as per the schedule and reporting the progress and results. Ability to study the improvement in warehouse operation and to maintain proper inventory levels. Skills Specialized in Warehouse Operations, Handling and Inventory Control Excellent interpersonal & communication skills Good leadership and decision-making skills 5 years experience in an reputed Industrial Organization, with similar position (Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage) Excellent knowledge in warehouse management & standard warehouse management processes / procedures, material control planning and activities Excellent knowledge in Material / Inventory control as well as related spares / consumables Experience of having worked in Oracle ERP / SAP Inventory module (Oracle ERP is an advantage) Prepare and present complete and accurate written and oral reports / presentations Education B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or other suitable bachelor degree
