Job Description and Requirements
-Maintain coverage of his/her customers at the agreed frequency regardless of limitations and other priorities
-To deliver his/her monthly volume targets consistently
-To sell distribution of all our lines in all outlets in his/her section
-To implement all promotional activities perfectly in his/her section per the monthly
strategy brief
-To achieve outstanding visibility (shelving, off-shelf displays, and placement of POSM)
in line with company initiatives and guidelines especially at the supermarket/mini market channels
-To ensure product pricing is per company requirements
-To sell the appropriate level of inventory to his/her customers to support off-take and
avoid out of stocks and minimize expires
-To maintain and take care of company hardware as well as implement planograms
-To achieve a high level of account penetration that enables him/her to contact key
account personnel at all times and to influence the decision process
-To keep up-to-date account information regarding business performance (volume,
visibility, pricing, collection, competitive information) and use the data available to drive
business forward
-Be alert in registering any business opportunities and preparing action plans to capitalize on them
-To implement and follow religiously the company payment and collection policies
-Merchandise the product in every call (specifically at retail and wholesale outlets)
ensuring our range is visible, clean and adhering to planogram
-Keep track of all account agreements ensuring prompt and full implementation
-Prepare monthly business reviews and present to his/her top customers
-To negotiate and close visibility and display contracts with his/her customers per
company guidelines
-Learn and adopt the best category management practices with his/her customers
-To maintain proper filing for all correspondence and contracts with his/her customers
-To recommend business building ideas that are tailor made to his/her customers needs in an effort to build his/her section’s business
-Have control of all activities undertaken by the merchandisers in his/her stores
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
-University Graduate in a business related field
-PC Skills ( Word, Excel)- PowerPoint is and added advantage
-Previous experience as a sales representative in an FMCG company is an asset
- Personal/ Private car & license – a must
