MINIMUM AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:    

 

Transportation Asset Management Specialists (ITAMSs) is a firm specialized in providing transportation asset management services. With the support of ITAMSs international partners, mainly from North America, ITAMSs is geared towards providing high quality consultancy services to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

ITAMSs has an opening for a Software Developer. The successful applicant must have strong analytical skills in analysis and design of software components in a .NET environment, building web-applications, and strong database skills with experience with either Oracle or SQLServer. Familiarity with developing software applications MS Visual Studio is highly desired. Also, experience in  ArcGIS object model, ArcIMS and ArcSDE is a plus.

Developers with an interest in advanced professional growth in software development are particularly encouraged to apply. The incumbent must be able to create and maintain customized software modules, and ensure that customer expectations and deadlines are met in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has a passion to develop software, especially web-based software. They should be highly-motivated, detail-oriented, self-directed and flexible with excellent oral and written communication skills. The ideal team member will also have good road infrastructure application skills, excellent problem solving skills, experience working with distributed systems and a solid understanding of object oriented design

 

Education and qualification equipment:

A degree, preferably a Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline is essential, with at least 5 years proven programming experience, preferably in relation to asset management/road infrastructure applications.
