Dot net developer

Description and Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop web applications using ASP.NET (C#), ASP, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript.
• Design and implement databases using SQL server, and Access.
• Design and Develop Integration projects between existing systems, using XML, SOAP and Web services. Ability to learn/adapt proprietary protocols/interfaces.
• Document technical and functional specifications.
• Use and adapt coding standards.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (M.Sc. is a plus)
• 2-3 years of experience in software development.
• Excellent innovation, communication and problem solving skills.
• Focus on software quality and delivery dates.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the following technologies/products:

·         HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS.

·         ASP.NET (C#), ASP, and Visual Studio Environment.

·         XML/SOAP/Web services.

·         In depth understanding of OOP concepts.

·         Experience in Design Patterns is a plus

·         MS SQL Server 2000 (Stored Procedures, DTS, Triggers, etc)

·         Strong database skills, including schema design and query optimization.

• Documenting software products during all stages of development. Performance tuning and building scalable products.

Experience in the following is a plus:

• CMS Solutions.
• AJAX, XML technologies is a plus.
• SOA concepts and tools, UML and CASE tools.
• Portal Frameworks, such as DotNetNuke.
• Software Development Process, such as RUP or GS.
• Certification from Microsoft.
• Service Oriented Architecture concepts and tools.
