Company Overview
Three Salti brothers in accordance with the Palestinian Commercial law existing at the time established Saliti Bros. & Co in Jerusalem in 1931. The Company was the first to specialize in building materials, sanitary equipment and hardware trade.
Due to the 1948 War and during that same year, they were forced to leave and seek refuge in neighboring countries. However, the owners tried to re-establish and register the company in the Arab section of Jerusalem, and on November 1, 1949 the company was permitted to operated in Jerusalem under article 31 of the Palestinian commercial law of 1930.
Due to unsettling circumstances, the owners for the second time, re-established, registered and operated the company out of Amman, Jordan. Its registration was published in the official Gazette number 1053 dated
September 9, 1950.
While operating out of Amman, and in compliance with the Jordanian Commercial law, the company was registered again under number 333.
