We are the first online Arab social community network, created for Arabs, by Arabs. Our concept is rooted from the Arab word “dewan, ” a place where a community can gather to socialize. We encourage the Arab online community to virtually, “Participate with the World” by empowering our users, or rather, “d1g’-eens, ” through interactive user-generated content and social networking services. At d1g, we want to install the facilities available online to develop, grow and nourish Arabic content. This can only be done by evolving the Arab Internet surfers from web users to web contributors.
d1g, is growing at an exponential rate and we are becoming the new online hub for Middle Eastern Internet users. As a hub, we must provide fun and interactive communicative methods for our users to retrieve information, share their experiences, innovation and creativity and communicate with their online networks. That is why our services include various online communication tools: email, search, question and answer, comics, photo gallery, games, video footage (Clipat d1g), social networking (Wojooh d1g) and forums. And in everything we do, we always try to maintain communication and interactivity by giving our users the freedom to comment, open forum discussions and share photographs and film footage. Our services will continue expanding, because we are a progressive portal, always seeking to move forward as we expand our services to lead the Arab community into creating strong, informative and entertaining Arab content.
