Hello to everybody,
I’m really pleased to be part of the akhtaboot network; the website represents a breakthrough in the “job search” market in Jordan and all the Middle East.
I hope it will benefit me and all the job seekers in Jordan, as I know how challenging and stressful this process can be.
Your friend,
Yazeed Al-Ajarmeh (MSc, BEng(Hons), CCNA)

Hi Yazeed! I am also a member of the Engineering community at Akhtaboot. I agree finding a job can be really stressful, but the saved search functionality really made things easier for me. Wish you all the best Yazeed!

Hello Yousef,
Thanx for your wishes! It’s great to hear from fellow members of the Engineering Community. Till this moment I haven’t used the saved search functionality as I just registered to this promising website, but I’ll check it out!
Yousef, I believe the job search process in Jordan is exhausting, time consuming and full of set backs.
It would be nice to hear from other members of the Engineering Community as well; studies, experiences, etc, as I believe this will be beneficial to our community!
I’ll start with myself, I have a BEng(Hons) in Computer Engineering and an MSc in Digital Electronics, both obtained from respected universities in the UK.
Now I believe I should have replaced the MSc by an MBA!! A here in Spain and in Europe generally MBA is more preferred than an MSc, that’s if your first Degree is in Engineering!!

Hello Hamzeh, and welcome to the Engineering Community. I can only answer your question regarding the CCNA as I only have experience with this certificate.
For CCNA you have two options as I can see it;
1- Self study, by buying a good CCNA book and a Virtual Network Simulator to practice network configurations on your PC.
2- Enrol at a Cisco Network Academy Program (CNAP). This option is a guided study course made by the Cisco people, and you can find plenty of academies in Jordan that offer the Cisco curriculum. However, this option might be a bit expensive, but should offer hands-on-experience depending on the quality of the training centre. (Check the Cisco Website to find accredited academies in Jordan).
Good Luck for pursuing your certificate and don’t hesitate to ask questions in the Engineers Community corner if you have more queries.
