Finance & Controlling Department Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

Overall responsibility for all local Finance & Controlling services in the company including, management, reporting, finance, controlling and SAP/BW/SIS/MIK in accordance with Swarovski Corporate Policies & Guidelines and according to applicable local laws

 

MAIN DUTIES:

 

Department Management:

1- Leads, manages and develops a team of professional employees

 

Reporting:

2- Responsible for delivering audited financial statements correct and on time.

3- Responsible for delivering corporate monthly/quarterly and YEP correct and on time.

4- Responsible for delivering management report.

 

Finance:

5-Responsible for Keeping the sets of books (general and sub ledgers) in order to comply with commercial law, tax law and IFRS

Financial statements according to local commercial law (local GAAP)

Financial statements according to group accounting standards (IFRS)

Financial statements according to local tax law

Responsible for Compliance with all local legal requirements (Tax return, VAT, etc.)

6- Responsible for compliance with local tax, Transfer Pricing and Customs laws and regulations in close collaboration with Corporate Tax Department, including the timely filing of all relevant income tax and VAT assessments, import duties declarations etc.

7- Secure segregation of duties (e.g. double signatures for payments)

 

Controlling:

1- Preparation of monthly cost center report revises and updates reports to be more useful and efficient.

2- Monitor and analyze monthly actual operating results against budget.

3- Analysis on material consumption in production.

4-Establish and maintain a profit center and cost center structure to reflect the company’s organization structure and business processes

5- Establish and maintain the appropriation of allocation expenses cycle

6-Perform yearly plan activity prices at the level of each activity types

7- Assist in planning cycle which includes annual company budget and reforecast cycle.

8- Responsible for project control requirement and includes involvement in various department throughout the business.

9-Control and prevention of abuse of scrap from production process.

 

Pricing

10-  Perform and implement pricing for all new articles according to set percentages and transfer pricing policies.

11-  Control actual realized percentages against quoted percentages and react properly upon any discrepancies.

12-  Review all items prices once a year and do the right communication in this regard.

Maintain full and complete documentation of pricing

 

SAP/BW/SIS/MIK system 

1- Responsible for financial data quality in different used and applied systems.

2-  Responsible for any further foreseen developments initiation and implementation.

3- Responsible for deadlines adherence.

4- Responsible for process compliance.

 

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

  1. Years of experience: 5+
  2. Language skills: Local Language + English
  3. Master in one of those: Accounting/Economic/Finance/MBA.
  4. Bachelor Degree in accounting.
  5. CMA/SAP in plus.
